gah, i took off next week on holliday, but now i feel like im comming down with the flu. Dammit. My left knee is also acting up, i've been getting pains in it for aslong as i can remember when i keep it bent (you can imagine what sitting crosslegged in school assemblies were like). It usually comes and goes every few months but its worse than usual, prolly time i saw a specialist.
friday was fun, had quite a big crowd out aswell, if i had a bit more money i would have done the black planet or abdunction thing too. last night i went for a family dinner at the long grain. my sister goes back to NY today but will be back in november :D. I'm getting hassled a bit to go over and the upcomming payout gives me the means to do it :D. After that went down to the Gaelic club and watched some metal bands with kanika & leech_boi.
new about work, im told i may not be needed after the end of the month. This is a good thing, but nothing goes to plan in this place so ill just wait and see. ravenous_kitten has confirmed some webdev work for me which looks like fun, i also have to teach her as i go along. Have to get some details for this (preferably when im not drunk :P)
I've bought a good Dell P4 2.24 ghz, 512ram, integrated vga - from work. There are a couple of people i know who need a PC however if theyre not interested it will be up for grabs on LJ & then ebay. It will be going cheap. This is a great opportunity to buy second hand shite from my failing company, i've got my eye on 2 nice leather living room chairs awell.
anyway fun w/e, i'm off on hollidays this week so if anyone wants to do anything let me know :D

gah, server failures mean i actually have to do work today. Scumbags. 2 in 1 day. Market St's SQL server 'hiccuped' but was minor and i had it up by 9:30. The one at head office i think may be down for a while, RAID5 redundancy didnt work and its telling me it has a corrupt registry. I'm hoping this rebuild will work otherwise ill get ASR started. gah *stress*

yesterday i started packing up the Hornsby store but finished within an hour, i was ment to go out today to finish but then this shit happened.
new years was lots of fun, did the hyde park thing with (cant be bothered tagging) amy, ferret, julz, tim, aitken, aaron, ryan, kate...and more! joy. Jasmine came out later in the night too :D

well the oxford st store closed today and is now being packed up. The company which does all the liquidation at fox studios has bought all the stock from the store. Highlight was when we met the guy who does the bra & linen adds on tv atm. wow the celebrities *faints*

Found an interesting anonymous, disposable webmail account service. The site allows you to use any *@pookmail.com account and is not password protected. Any email received to the address will be deleted in 24 hours. The mailbox is not secured so anyone (who knows the username) can view it. Good for giving a dumby email address

yay i got my inherited laptop all up and working. Its a fairly new NEC model with P4 1.7ghz, 512 ram, 80gig hdd, dvd writer & fairly decent graphics xga adapter. Unfortunetally it doesnt have a PS/2 port for a keyboard and the company won't let me buy a USB one. scum
who knows, perhaps the company will fold tommo and ill loose it anyway.
